We may combine information from different sources and across your devices and accounts, and use the combined information for any of these purposes.

4. Main St GPT, Text Messages, and AI

AI processing. When you use Main St GPT or text our ordering number, your messages and related account information are processed by automated systems, including large language models provided by third-party AI model providers acting on our behalf. Those providers process information to generate responses and may retain it as permitted by their agreements with us.

Human review. Our team and our service providers may review conversations and AI actions, for example to provide support, investigate problems, improve quality, and ensure safety.

Use for training. As described in Section 3, we may use AI interactions to train and improve AI models and to develop new products.

Retention after deletion. Deleting a conversation or your account may not remove information already used to train models, included in aggregated or de-identified data, or retained for the reasons in Section 12.

Be thoughtful about what you share. Please do not share sensitive information, such as full payment card numbers, government ID numbers, health information, or passwords, with Main St GPT or by text.

5. How We Share Information

We share information for business purposes as follows:

With other Users to make transactions work. When you order from a Seller, we share your name, contact details, delivery or pickup information, order details, and messages with that Seller. When you sell, we share your business name, listings, and relevant contact and fulfillment information with Buyers. Team members can see information according to the permissions set by the account owner. Reviews and public listings may be visible to anyone.

With service providers. We share information with vendors that perform services for us, such as payment processing (Stripe), authentication (Clerk), cloud hosting and storage, third-party AI model providers, SMS, iMessage, and email delivery, customer support, analytics, shipping and label providers, data enrichment, fraud prevention, and professional advisers.

With partners and affiliates. We share information with our affiliates and with business partners, such as integration partners, distribution and marketing partners, and platforms that list or promote products, for the business purposes described in this Policy.

With AI Agents and platforms. We make product, listing, pricing, and availability information available to search engines, third-party AI agents, assistants, and platforms. When you use or authorize an AI Agent to interact with Yeoman, we share information with it as needed to process your requests and orders.

Stripe and financial partners. We share information with Stripe as needed for payments, payouts, identity and business verification, compliance, and fraud prevention. Stripe uses that information under its own privacy policy.

At your direction or with your consent. We share information when you ask us to, for example when you invite a contact, connect a third-party service, or send a payment link.

Business transfers. We may share or transfer information in connection with, or during negotiations of, a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or other corporate transaction.

Legal and safety. We may access, preserve, and disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, respond to government requests, enforce our Terms, protect the rights, property, or safety of Yeoman, Users, or others, or detect and address fraud, security, or technical issues.

Aggregated and de-identified information. We may freely use and share aggregated or de-identified information for any purpose (see Section 6).

6. Aggregated and De-identified Information

We may aggregate, anonymize, or de-identify information so that it no longer reasonably identifies you. Aggregated and de-identified information is owned by Yeoman, and we may use and share it for any purpose, including creating market and pricing insights, benchmarks, research, and new products, and sharing it with partners and third parties. We maintain de-identified information in de-identified form and do not attempt to re-identify it, except as permitted by law.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Services, understand usage, measure performance, and support marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the Services work. Our Services do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. We may also work with advertising and analytics partners who use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies on our Services to collect information about your activity over time and across different websites and apps, so that we and they can measure performance and show you ads for Yeoman on other sites and services.

8. Communications

Service messages. We send transactional and account messages, such as order confirmations, payment links, receipts, and security notices. These are part of the Services.

Marketing emails. We may send marketing emails about Yeoman and products and Sellers on Yeoman. Each marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, as required by law.

Text messages. If you text our ordering number or provide your mobile number, we will send text messages as described in Section 12 of our Terms. Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.

Invitations from Sellers. If a Seller uploads your contact information, we may send you invitations and messages about Yeoman on that Seller’s behalf and our own. You can reply STOP to any text or use the unsubscribe link in any email.

Business outreach. If you work for a business, we may contact you by email or by a phone call from a member of our team using business contact information from public sources. You can ask us to stop by replying to our email or contacting privacy@yeoman.ai. We do not use AI to place outbound sales calls.

9. Payments and Financial Information

Payments and payouts are processed by Stripe. Payment card numbers and bank account details are collected and stored by Stripe, not Yeoman, and are handled under Stripe’s privacy policy, payment network rules, and applicable law. We receive limited payment information as described in Section 2.1 and use it for the purposes in this Policy.

10. Location Information

If you allow access to your device’s location, we may collect and use precise location as described in Section 2.2. We ask for this permission through your device or browser before collecting precise location, and you can withdraw it at any time through your settings.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services include links to and integrations with third-party services, including Stripe, Clerk, shipping carriers, Apple Messages, Seller systems, and AI Agents. Information you provide to those services is governed by their privacy policies, not this one. We are not responsible for their practices.

12. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as we think is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, train and improve AI models, develop products, maintain business records, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. Information may remain in backups for a period after deletion. Information that has been aggregated, de-identified, or incorporated into AI models or derived works may be kept indefinitely.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and devices secure. Text messaging and email are not fully secure channels.

14. Children

The Services are for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or allow anyone under 18 to use the Services. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@yeoman.ai and we will take appropriate steps.

15. Privacy Requests and State Privacy Rights

You may send privacy questions or requests to privacy@yeoman.ai. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable state privacy laws, and we will respond to requests as and where required by applicable law.

16. United States Only

The Services are intended for use in the United States. Information is processed and stored in the United States. Some service providers, including AI model providers, may process information in other countries, subject to our agreements with them.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice by email, in the Services, or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
