Tschi Tschi Ginkgo

The Tschi Tschi Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba 'Tschi Tschi') offers a unique twist on the beloved ginkgo tree, presenting itself as a compact, slow-growing shrub with a distinctive character. With its dense, mounded form and multi-stemmed structure, this cultivar reaches a modest height of only 4-5 feet, making it an ideal choice for smaller gardens or landscape settings. Over the span of a decade, its fan-shaped habit develops gradually, showcasing its ornamental appeal. One of its standout features is the early appearance of intriguing bumpy growths on the trunk, adding visual interest and charm. Unlike some other ginkgo varieties, 'Tschi Tschi' is a male clone, eliminating concerns about fruit production. Whether used as a focal point in a garden or as part of a shrub border, this unique ginkgo cultivar brings both beauty and intrigue to outdoor spaces.
