Distinctive Features The leaves are thick and glossy, deep green on top with warm, brownish undersides that add contrast and a richer canopy look. Compared to full-sized southern magnolias, Little Gem is more compact and often more manageable in home landscapes, while still producing impressive, creamy white flowers.
