Hollywood Chinese Juniper

Hollywood Chinese Juniper (Juniperus chinensis 'Torulosa') Hollywood Chinese Juniper, Juniperus chinensis 'Torulosa', is a bold, upright evergreen shrub or small tree known for its twisting, sculptural branches and rich green foliage. Instead of growing in a rigid column, it develops irregular, character filled curves that look almost hand pruned, making each plant feel like a living piece of garden art. Dense sprays of foliage cling to the contorted branches from top to bottom, so the plant reads as a strong vertical focal point in sunny, well drained landscapes. Distinctive Features Hollywood Chinese Juniper typically matures around 10 to 15 feet tall and 4 to 8 feet wide, forming an upright, irregular outline with multiple twisting leaders. The foliage is a deep green, carried on layered, fan like sprays that thicken with age and give the plant a substantial presence. Branches naturally bend and turn, creating a windswept, sculpted look that fits beautifully in Japanese inspired gardens, near entries, or as a specimen in open lawn. Its combination of height, character, and evergreen color makes it a natural focal point wherever strong structure is needed. Growing Conditions...
