Glowing Hearts Pieris (Pieris japonica 'Piesid2') Glowing Hearts Pieris is an evergreen shrub that adds bright foliage contrast and year-round structure to part-shade landscapes. It is a strong choice for foundation plantings and woodland borders where you want reliable color even when flowers are not in season. The plant also brings a fresh spring display with cascading bloom clusters that soften the evergreen form. If you want an easy, polished shrub for acidic soils, this pieris delivers dependable multi-season interest. Distinctive Features This selection is prized for variegated evergreen foliage that brings a lighter, more luminous look to shaded garden spaces. New growth often adds a seasonal color shift before maturing, keeping the plant visually active across the growing season. Its upright to rounded habit provides a clean, structured presence that pairs well with azaleas, rhododendrons, and other acid-loving plants. Growing Conditions...
